Jade has been expressing her love for fashion, beauty and the arts since an early age and has been painting for as long as she can remember. Her make-up art is an extension of painting for her, where the face becomes her canvas. To this end, Jade studied two separate courses. The first was in art directing and motion picture make-up and the second in fashion make-up and hairstyling. She also received training and practical experience while working for Make-Up Forever.
With her tenacious drive and go-getter attitude, Jade launched herself into the industry, landing her first job a week out of college. During the course of her five-year career, Jade has worked for almost every South African women’s magazine including Elle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Seventeen, Deluxe, Fairlady, Real Simple, Oprah and Glamour.

Another way Jade expresses her creativity is through writing and her extensive knowledge of beauty enables her to write informative and extremely practical articles that share her hands-on experience. She is currently a freelance contributing writer for Marie Claire magazine.
